Initial Design Contract
Once a budget is reached and design ideas have been conveyed, the Initial Design Contract is signed. This contract states the client agrees to pay a set design fee based on the complexity of the design. Once the final design is chosen, that fee is applied to the final payment for the piece of jewelry. [sample – .PDF]
Commission of Jewelry Contract
Once a final design is chosen, the Commission of Jewelry Contract is signed. This contract states the materials to be used, approximate dimensions or size, approximate date and method of delivery, and any other information that pertains to the construction and/or completion of the piece. Also included in this contract is an image of the final design and an invoice. [sample – .PDF]
Client-Provided Jewelry and Materials Agreement
This supplemental contract is to be signed if the client provides materials to be used in the fabrication process. This agreement states Green Spot™ Studio will handle all client-provided materials with due care. Also, the client understands there is a possibility of unforeseen damage to the materials and recognizes Green Spot Studio is not liable for such damages. [sample – .PDF]
