About Green Spot™ Studio

Tracey Jenkins is the owner and designer of Green Spot™ Studio.

Tracey fondly remembers from childhood her beloved bag of “junk jewelry” a diverse collection of handed down treasures she habitually hoarded, disassembled and reinvented. This bag and the immeasurable pleasure it provided marked an early foray into a lifelong passion for creating art.

In 2002, Tracey obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in Industrial Design, following studies that were concentrated in Florence, Italy and Boston, MA but also brought her throughout North America and Europe. After a brief but successful stint as a consultant in the Corporate Art world, she returned to school and her earliest passion, graduating the North Bennet Street School’s prestigious two-year Jewelry Making & Repair program in the spring of 2005.

Tracey now draws knowledge from life’s campus. From working alongside Master Stone Setters, casting companies and other jewelers, to attending industry workshops, lectures and conferences, she at once enhances her skills and garners knowledge of the trade. Tracey, who is also an workshop instructor at several area craft schools, believes she learns the most from her teaching and the experience of fabricating each new piece.

Green Spot™ Studio opened its doors in the spring of 2005.
